Me? Blog? Sure, why not?

I have never thought of myself as being someone interesting enough to write a blog or interesting enough that someone would take time out of their busy life to read my blog. I mean, really, who wants to read another blog written by a person that they don’t even know? Here’s what interests me: I’m a Freelance Linux, Open Source and Web Consultant, I believe in protecting the environment, the rights of animals, the rights of every human and I’m a Vegetarian? Still interested in reading what I might write? I love commuting by bicycle and believe that using a bicycle as an alternative mode of transportation should be a right, not a privilege. I’m a registered member of the Green Party and I’m Catholic. How about now? If you said yes to any of these, then great! I hope to see you around. If you said no, well, I completely understand. I can’t be interesting to every person on the planet. As a matter of fact, I may even offend some readers with my political writing (especially, Conservatives) I do write a lot, just not in a blog. Sometimes, writing clears my head and helps me get out of a rut. Sometimes, writing frustrates the hell out of me because I think what I’m writing is good only to read it the next day and wonder what I was thinking. I remember many years ago in college I wanted to write a novel. Ah, well, that never happened and probably never will. I think, for now, I’ll stick to writing in my blog about my interests.
